2 Red Rocketeers headed to 31st Shriners Game
Tri-Captain Kevin Richman and Mike D'Atilio have been selected to participate in the 31st Shriners Football Classic. The Shriners Football Classic is the premier all-star football game in Eastern Massachusetts and features high school seniors from several schools from across Massachusetts. Congrats Kevin and Mike! Principal Robert Gay and AD Kurt Kummer announce the appointment of Don Johnson as the new Head Coach of Big Red. After serving 26 years as an assistant coach, Don has earned the respect of his peers throughout the Hockomock League and is excited to put his stamp on the program. Complete Story 
The Monday Night Gridiron Club would like to say thank you and Good Luck to Head Coach Kurt Kummer as he steps down to focus his energies on his new position as Athletic Director at North Attleboro High School. Thank you Coach Kummer for 5 years of never ending hard work, dedication, loyalty, and passion for both the football program and the student athletes of North Attleboro High School. Under your leadership the Long Red Line continued on it's path of excellence. Monday Night Gridiron Club wishes you well as you embark on the next journey of your life. Complete Story Red Rocketeers give back to the Community When it comes to the support of a community, the Red Rocketeer High School football program can count their blessings every year. With the economy the way it is and so many North families needing assistance, the Monday Night Gridiron Club along with the coaches and players wanted to show their gratitude and give back to the community. Using the proceeds from the 50/50 raffle at this year's Mansfield game, the Red Rocketeers have made 2 donations to local charities. A $250 dollar donation to Lenore’s Pantry and a $250 dollar donation to Christmas is for Kids. These funds will be used to help restock the shelves with non-perishable goods for many North families and also provide toys to the hundreds of underprivileged children in our area. Three Red Rocketeers named to All Sun Chronicle Team! The honors keep coming for the 2008 Red Rocketeers. Capt Kevin Richman, Capt Mike Mitry, and Senior Mike D'Atillio were named to the 2008 All Sun Chronicle Team. These players were recognized and elected by our area's coaches along with the Chronicles Sports staff. Congratulations to Mike, Kevin, and Mike! Complete Story
4 Red Rocketeers named to the All Hockomock Team Continuing the tradition of success on the gridiron, 4 members of the 2008 Red Rocketeers were named to the All Hockomock League team. Players are selected based on the votes cast by the Head Coaches of each team. This is a great accomplishment and each player should be proud to be recognized for their efforts. Named to the All Hockomock Defensive Team were Senior Captain Kevin Richman as a Defensive Back and Senior Captain Mike Mitry as a Defensive End. Named to the All Hockomock Offensive Team were Senior RB Chris Weeman and Senior Lineman Mike D'Atillio. Congratulations on a great season!
Senior Captain Mike Mitry selected to the Boston Globe's Division 2 All Eastern Mass Team Captain Mike Mitry closed out his high school football career in style as he was selected as a member of the Boston Globe's Division 2 All Eastern Mass Team. Joining Mike from the Hockomock League were Brandon Howard from King Philip, Shawn Doherty, Dan Glavin, and Jeff Mallett from Mansfield, Mike Delaney from Foxboro, Matt Carini from Franklin and Dan Snyder from Stoughton. Congratulations on a tremendous achievement Mike!
Red Rocketeers support JDRW Walk for a Cure 2008! Dan Lang and Steve Sellner were both diagnosed with diabetes in May of 1999. Team Rocket came together 8 years ago to raise money as a team. We currently consist of 4 families from North Attleboro (Lang, Sellner, Alix and Mortimore) We have raised over $173,000 to date throught the walk and our annual dinner dance for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. This year's walk at Roger Williams Park consisted of approx 70 walkers raising close to $14,000. We had 45 students take The Big Red Bus to the park.(Thank you Mitch!!)
